Offline payments use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to create a secure, encrypted connection between two devices. When you initiate a transaction offline, it is cryptographically signed on your device and queued for settlement. Once either device reconnects to the internet, the transaction is automatically synced and settled on-chain. You can queue up to 30 days of offline transactions.
